Issue When trying to access certain URLs within your Joomla site you may receive the error below. Solution In most cases this issue will be down to the SEF settings for your Joomla site. In my case I found that I had enabled SEF twice. Once as an additional component and again within "Site -> Global Configuration -> SEO Settings -> Search Engine Freindly URL`s". I found disabling SEF from the main Joomla settings within Global Configuration and clearing the sites cache "Tools -> Clean Cache" resolved the Redirect Loop issue. Please Note : This error can be caused by a number of different factors, and you may find that this solution may not work for you. |
